Welcome to Holy Name's Website.

We hope to use the following pages to tell you about our community and how we strive to make this a place of learning where all pupils, parents and staff can work together for the good of the whole school.

We believe that we have created a caring and concerned community based on Christian values, and we will continue to work towards the ideals set out in our School Aims and complemented in our School's Mission Statement.

We aim to educate our pupils for life by preparing them intellectually, emotionally and spiritually within an environment that is well-ordered, stimulating and safe.  It is our ultimate aim that all our young people will aspire to become happy and well-adjusted members of society with happy memories of Holy Name School.

In Primary 6 our pupils begin preparing for the transition to St Columba's RC High School in Dunfermline.  Our very successful Transition Process involves planned liaison with Area Group Headteachers, secondary and primary staff, and school chaplains.  As a result, our pupils enjoy a variety of activities which ensure a seamless progression to Secondary Education.

Our school also has a very active Parent Council which contributes effectively to the life of the school.

In February 2007, our school was relocated to the Oakley Campus, which we share with Inzievar P.S., the Nursery and Community Library.  We are delighted with our premises and enjoy working in partnership with Inzievar P.S. for the good of the whole community.

If you require further information about any aspect of the school, please make an appointment to visit us.  We will be happy to help you.
