Behaviour Support                                     Learning Support

 The Pupil Support Faculty aims to provide a nurturing environment for pupils with Additional Support Needs, both learning and social, emotional and behaviour.  It is staffed by a Principal Teacher of Behaviour and a Principal Teacher of Learning as well as 2.5 full time equivalent teaching members of staff.  We are also fortunate to have 8 Pupil Support Assistants.

 The faculty has five main aims;

  • Direct teaching
  • Consultancy
  • Co-operative teaching
  • Specialist services
  • Staff development

We offer the following courses at present;

Dyslexia group


Rural Skills in association with Elmwood College

View programme in conjunction with Adam Smith College

Primary 7 transitions

Personal Development Award

Social skills group
