The Careers Adviser attached to Woodmill High School is David Nicholson. Mr Nicholson attends school regularly to provide career planning support to pupils at key points of transition.
Pupils can request an appointment with the Careers Adviser at any stage, particularly from S4 onwards, to discuss their career planning needs and post-school options.
Pupils can also access a wide range of materials in the school careers library including information on options within Higher Education, Further Education with a specific section on career options. Pupils can access the 'Careers Drop-In' sessions which run in the school library every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime 12.30-1.00pm.
Parents / carers can also meet with the Careers Adviser at any time. Mr Nicholson attends all Parents' Evenings from S2 onwards.
