APODO
The Business Education Department ran their annual Apodo day challenge with the new S1. Apodo is a series of challenging, interactive activities which promote and encourage pupils, with the aid of their senior school Buddies, to develop their skills of:
- Application
- Confidence
- Communication
- Determination
- Team-work
All of these activities are intended to be enjoyable and help pupils integrate into the secondary school environment.
The buddies worked well together and aided the new S1 pupils. The buddies even gave a spontaneous performance of the dance “Cha-Cha Slide”.
SCHOOL PERFORMANCE- Les Misérables 2019
Every one of them dug deep, and brought forth performances that came from the heart, from places even they might not have known they had! Such a wealth of talent – a rich seam, which those tasked with all the producing, directing, casting and coaching mined incredibly well.
A job incredibly well done!
INTERACT CLUB
Interact gives students ages 12-18 the chance to make a real difference while having fun. The Interact club carries out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. The Club is sponsored by Kirkcaldy Rotary and we look forward to a great year of both local and international projects.
DANCE CLUB
The hip hop dance team went down to Stoke on Trent competing in the UK National Schools Finals and they won!! The team have also been invited to perform at the world dance championships in August 2019.
