Head Teacher Blog
With June now with us staff are busy supporting our pupils in their learning at home as we prepare our school to welcome our pupils back as soon as it is safe to do so.
During the month of June we are hoping to support some of our most vulnerable children with some time in our school building - an opportunity to see some teachers again and to ensure we are getting it right in supporting them in their learning before the summer holidays.
Plans are being formulated to try to get our new S1 pupils into school before the summer holidays, again so they can meet some of their future teachers face to face and so some fun transition activities during a half day visit can take place.
We would also like to mark the achievements of pupils from 2019/2020. Although our annual award ceremony cannot take place as normal this year we are asking staff this week to nominate pupils across the year groups as they normally would for recognition for their good work in the school year gone by.
Parents/Carers have been asked to complete a parental survey regarding the way we are currently working with our young people and I would hope as many of our families participate as possible. The survey link is: https://bit.ly/3dZXiVM
Please remember staff remain available to be contacted on any aspect of pupil learning and I remind parents/carers to contact the school via our enquiries e-mail address email@example.com so the appropriate member of staff can be contacted to address any issue.
With my warmest regards - stay safe and well, looking after yourselves and loved ones at this time.
Take Care and God bless
