To promote pupil self confidence and enjoyment of learning.

To have high expectations and continue our strong academic ethos; encouraging each child to achieve their potential.

To promote positive behaviour and good relationships between pupils in an environment where the pupils feel safe and secure.

Targets set by collating from responses of pupils, parents and staff workshops 2011

Homework may take various forms. It is intended to encourage investigation, personal initiative, the use of media or further practice of skills learned in class. Homework will be related to work going on in the class at that time.

Extra Curricular Activities

The school currently a variety of afterschool clubs. The pupils can attend a selcetion of clubs throughout the year for different ages and stages.  Clubs that we have run include:  Art, choir, computer animation, dodge ball, football, gardening, hockey, multi activity, netball, rugby, street dance and tennis.  Ask your teacher for more information about anyone of our popular clubs.

We want to encourage a responsible, self-disciplined attitude within the children at school.  Our rules are made by the children themselves.  Staff use a positive approach with praise for good behaviour and work.  However, should any child's behaviour cause undue concern, parents will be contacted and we will work together to resolve the problem.
