Dear Learners, Parents and Carers

I hope that you and those around you are safe and well.

You will have received the attached message from Carrie Lindsay last week. This sets out a very brief outline of the three stage process for young people returning to Secondary schools in August. This process has been arrived at following discussions and recommendations from education working groups, professional associations, families and elected members. A Recovery Framework has now been approved, which all Secondary schools are referring to as they draw up plans for their own, unique settings.

In line with the above, Inverkeithing High school is currently developing its own plans for an August return of pupils, and will share and discuss its thoughts and ideas with school staff, Parent Partnership Group and the wider school community over the next couple of weeks. We will have in place a clear plan for your young person before the end of this session, aiming to give you details in the last week of term, week commencing 29 June.

In the meantime, I want to thank you for your patience and your support as we enter the next critical phase of this unique journey. I look forward to hearing your ideas and comments over the coming days and weeks.

Kindest regards and best wishes

Ian Adair

Headteacher,

Inverkeithing High School
